However, a VPN is only as secure as the provider, so it's important to chose the right provider.

Linux Mint

People who prefer privacy normally use Linux, as Linux are open source and harder for governments to hack.

We think that Linux Mint could be a good choice.

One thing that you could do is to install Linux Mint on a USB drive and then if you plug in the USB drive and run Linux on the USB drive, you can run Linux on any computer anywhere. You can find an internet cafe or go somewhere that's not at home and run it from the USB drive.

And if you in addition use ProtonVPN when you are running Linux Mint from the USB drive, you have even more protection.

The Onion Router - Tor

The Onion Router - Tor, is considered as one of the better tools to protect you.

An idea could be to first connect to the VPN and then using The Onion Router - Tor through the VPN, so there is a double layer of protection.

Combined protection

A good idea could be to:

1. Install Linux Mint on a brand new USB drive. (Brand new to make sure that there are no other hidden content on it that possibly could track you.)

2. Use Linux Mint on that USB drive that you plug in at an Internet cafe or somewhere that's not at home.

3. Connect to ProtonVPN.

4. Use The Onion Router - Tor through the VPN.

It might not be possible to protect fully. A lot of people before us have given their lives to Jesus and He gave His life for us, so follow Jesus no matter the cost.
